Hi-Flow Pump Installation Information

What are the Hull Requirements ?

• Step-hull boats should have a sea chest installed.
• Non-step-hull boats can mount the pump directly to a pick-up and ball valve.
4500 and 7500 Models must have a minimum of 1.5" of water intake per pump.
• The 2500 must have a minimum of 1" of water intake per pump.

How do I wire my Hooker Pumps Hi-Flow Pump?

• All wiring must follow ABYC standards.
• All pumps require using an appropriate fuse or breaker. Reference the "Recommended Breaker Size" chart below
• Follow the electrical chart when extending the power leads.
• The signal wires can use 18-3 for extending.

How do I operate my Hi-Flow Pump?

• Turn on the pump's power.
• Turn the variable-speed knob to the desired speed.
• Wait eight seconds.
• Adjust variable speed knob to the desired speed.
